Mastercard reported earnings per share of $5.31 for the third quarter of fiscal 2026, below the forecast of $5.32. The gap was $0.01, or 0.1% below the forecast. Revenue came in at $9.8 billion, against a forecast of $9.9 billion.

Revenue gap

Revenue fell short of the forecast by $135.8 million, or 1.4% below the revenue forecast. The company’s own filing, released on 29 October 2026, gave the figures. The fiscal year may not match the calendar year, so the quarter is the company’s own third quarter of fiscal 2026.

In markets the same day, the Nasdaq Composite stood at 26,549.85 points at the close of 28 October 2026, up 0.27% from the previous close.
