Earnings and Revenue against forecast

The earnings per share gap against forecast was $0.11. Revenue came in $303.1 million below the forecast, a shortfall of 3.4%. The two measures therefore moved in opposite directions against expectations: profit per share ran ahead of the forecast while the top line fell short of it.

The figures are the company’s own. They are set out in the EX-99.1 release filed with the SEC on the same day.

Market backdrop

The Nasdaq Composite stood at 26,169.38 points at the close of 26 October 2026, up 0.82% from the previous close and near its 31-day low. The index level is not linked to the PayPal release.
