Non-oil exports carry the gains

Oil and gas imports climbed 23.94 percent to $3.27 billion. That jump outpaced the growth in overall imports.

Surplus narrows over nine months

The September surplus was smaller than the $3.55 billion recorded in August. It also trailed the $4.55 billion posted in September 2025.

The cumulative surplus for January to September 2026 stood at $10.61 billion. The same period in 2025 recorded $33.54 billion.
