Apple reported earnings per share of $2.05 for the fourth quarter of its 2026 fiscal year, $0.02 above the $2.03 forecast, a gap of 1.1%. Revenue for the same period came to $114.5 billion, which was $1.2 billion below the $115.7 billion forecast, or 1.0% under it. The figures were disclosed in the company’s own filing on 2 November 2026.

Earnings and revenue against forecast

The two measures pointed in opposite directions against expectations. Per-share earnings landed above the forecast, while revenue fell short of it. The company’s fiscal year does not match the calendar year, so the fourth quarter refers to the final three months of Apple’s 2026 fiscal year rather than the calendar fourth quarter. The filing gave the forecast figures as stated, and the gaps reported here are measured against them.

Market backdrop

In markets the same day, the Nasdaq Composite stood at 25,164.32 points, down 1.07% from its previous close and at its lowest level in 31 days. The index move is reported separately from Apple’s results.
