Revenue and earnings against forecast

Both measures came in under expectations. The earnings gap was the larger of the two in percentage terms. Revenue was $4.3 billion short of the forecast. The results were published in the company’s filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on 29 October 2026.

The figures are the company’s own reported numbers. The company’s fiscal year does not necessarily match the calendar year, so the quarter refers to Amazon’s own reporting period.

Market backdrop

In markets the same day, the Nasdaq Composite stood at 26,549.85 points at the close of 28 October 2026, up 0.27% from the previous close.
