Foreign investors recorded net purchases of Indonesian government bonds, known as SBN, worth Rp28.79 trillion amid volatility in global markets. Finance Minister Suahasil Nazara gave the figure at the Q3-2026 press conference of the Financial System Stability Committee, KSSK, held at the Bank Indonesia building in Jakarta. He described the SBN market as resilient.
Spread to US Treasuries
The spread between the 10-year SUN yield and the US Treasury yield stood at 183 basis points. That is slightly below its level at the end of 2025. The gap is a closely watched measure of how Indonesian debt is priced against the benchmark US market.
KSSK said it is monitoring developments in global and domestic financial markets. The committee’s stated aim for the quarter is to maintain stability across the financial system.
Outlook for the quarter
Its focus, as stated at the briefing, remains the stability of the financial system through the quarter.
